David A. Vaudt is an American politician who is a former Auditor of State of the U.S. state of Iowa. A Republican, he was first elected to the office in November 2002{{Cite web|url=https://sos.iowa.gov/elections/pdf/2002/results/Canvass%20Summary.pdf|title=2002 Iowa State Election results|last=|first=|date=|website=|url-status=live|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20120425022326/http://sos.iowa.gov:80/elections/pdf/2002/results/Canvass%20Summary.pdf |archive-date=2012-04-25 |access-date=}} and took office in January 2003. He was re-elected in November 2006 and 2010.
