Early life

According to his fighter profile, Onama was born in the Kyangwali Refugee Settlement in Uganda. He eventually moved to Kansas City, Missouri to pursue MMA.

Personal life

During the octagon interview after his win at UFC 309, Onama gave a shoutout to country singer Zach Bryan.
