David Silvers (born February 26, 1979) is an American politician. He is a Democratic member of the Florida Legislature representing the state's 89th House district, which includes part of Palm Beach County.
Early career
Silvers unsuccessfully challenged Bill Hager for the 89th House district seat in 2014. Florida House of Representatives
Silvers defeated two other candidates in the August 30, 2016 Democratic primary, winning 54.1% of the vote.{{cite web |title=Florida Department of State - Election Results |url=https://results.elections.myflorida.com/Index.asp?ElectionDate=8/30/2016&DATAMODE= |access-date=14 December 2018}} With no Republican or third-party candidates in the race, Silvers was elected automatically.
