David Allen Welter is a Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives representing the 75th district. Legislative career

John D. Anthony resigned from his seat in the Illinois House of Representatives effective June 17, 2016. Post-legislative career

Welter is a real estate broker. On August 1, 2023, Illinois Governor J. B. Pritzker announced that he appointed Welter to the Executive Ethics Commission pending confirmation by the Illinois Senate.{{cite web|title=Gov.
