The Democratic Liberal Congress (DLC) is a South African political party formed in 2016 by Patrick Pillay.

Pillay was a Minority Front councillor for fifteen years before infighting in that party after the death of longstanding leader Amichand Rajbansi led him to break away and form the DLC.{{Cite web |url=https://www.indianspice.co.za/2016/06/patrick-pillay-shuns-the-minority-front-launches-own-party/ |title=Patrick Pillay Shuns The Minority Front, Launches Own Party |date=2016-06-03 |website=IndianSpice |language=en-US |access-date=2019-04-17 |archive-date=20 June 2016 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160620055244/http://www.indianspice.co.za/2016/06/patrick-pillay-shuns-the-minority-front-launches-own-party/ |url-status=dead }}

The party opposes affirmative action and land expropriation without compensation, and is in favour of austerity measures for government and simplifying business.{{Cite web |url=https://www.dailymaverick.co.za/article/2019-03-26-crib-sheet-for-the-political-parties-contesting-the-2019-polls-part-two/ |title=2019 Elections: Crib-sheet for the political parties contesting the 2019 polls, Part Two |last=Davis |first=Rebecca |website=Daily Maverick |date=25 March 2019 |language=en |access-date=2019-04-17}}
