Devin Carter (born March 24, 2002) is an American professional basketball player for the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Providence Friars.
Early life and high school career
Carter initially attended Cherry Creek High School in Greenwood Village, Colorado. College career

Carter began his college career at South Carolina. He played in 30 games during his freshman season and averaged nine points and 3.8 rebounds per game. Many assumed Carter would follow his coach to Georgetown or explore another school in the transfer portal, but he chose to stay at Providence. This showed a loyalty to Friartown that earned Carter lots of praise.

His outstanding scoring ability, tenacious defense, and high-motor impressed NBA scouts throughout his junior season.
Professional career
