Solesta
Solesta is the marketed brand name of a system of injections of dextranomer in stabilized sodium hyaluronate for use in fecal incontinence (FI).{{cite journal|last=Hoy|first=SM|title=Dextranomer in stabilized sodium hyaluronate (Solesta): in adults with faecal incontinence.|journal=Drugs|date=Aug 20, 2012|volume=72|issue=12|pages=1671–8|pmid=22845415|doi=10.2165/11209030-000000000-00000|s2cid=6499631}} This preparation is a biocompatible gel, for use as a perianal injectable bulking agent. The system is intended to be injected in the submucosal layer of the proximal anal canal (i.e. above the level of the dentate line).
