Dharshini David is an English author, economist and broadcaster. She is currently the BBC's Deputy Economics Editor, having previously been an economist at HSBC Investment Bank and a presenter for Sky News. She also presents programmes for Radio 4.
Early life

Broadcasting career

She was appointed the BBC's New York Business Presenter in July 2006{{cite news|url=http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7004923.stm|access-date=9 December 2020|title=Mortgage woes 'exceed forecasts'|work=BBC News|date=20 September 2007}} and presented World Business Report from New York. and covered the emergence of the credit crunch from Wall Street.
