Rowing career

Bishop won the single sculls and the quadruple sculls, rowing for the Wallingford Rowing Club, at the 1975 National Rowing Championships.{{cite web|url=https://link.gale.com/apps/doc/CS101678325/GDCS?u=oxfshlib&sid=GDCS&xid=c81d6cd4|title=Railton, Jim. Personal life
