Doobie Shea Records was a record label featuring independent bluegrass artists. Wilson with a 5-song demo..." Only just a dream". It was based in Boones Mill, Virginia and distributed by Select-O-Hits.

History

Doobie Shea Records was founded in 1988 by Tim Austin, a former musician who traveled with the Bluegrass Cardinals in the late 1970s{{cite news|last=Green|first=Buck|title=Tim Austin: Where Is He Now?|url=http://bluegrasstoday.com/tim-austin-where-is-he-now/|access-date=16 April 2014|newspaper=Bluegrass Today|date=25 October 2011}} and a founding member of the Lonesome River Band.{{cite book|last=Bogdanov|first=Vladimir|title=All Music Guide: The Definitive Guide to Popular Music|year=2001|publisher=Hal Leonard Corporation|isbn=9780879306274|url-access=registration|url=https://archive.org/details/allmusicguidedef00bogd}} The label's first critically acclaimed project was the Stanley Tradition, nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album and an IBMA award.
