It occurs along the Oregon coast in Curry county. It ranges approximately 12 miles from Winchuck River just north of the state line of California to Whalehead Cove to the north, and inward to the southern area of the city of Roseburg.{{Cite journal |last=Lund |first=Ernest H. |title=Landforms Along the Coast of Curry County, Oregon |date=1975 |url=https://www.oregongeology.org/pubs/og/OBv37n04.pdf|journal=Ore Bin|pages=57–76|volume=37|issue=4 |accessdate=2020-02-14}}
