Forman is best known for co-authoring Lily’s Promise with his great-grandmother, Auschwitz survivor Lily Ebert, and for using digital platforms to educate millions of followers about the Holocaust, Judaism and to advocate against antisemitism. Personal life

Forman is a religious Jew of Ashkenazi descent. In October 2024, Forman's great-grandmother, Ebert, passed away at the age of 100. Activism and social media

At age 16, during the COVID-19 pandemic and amid a rise of antisemitism, Forman wanted to raise awareness of the Holocaust and anti-Jewish racism.
