Dovbysh ({{langx|uk|Довбиш}}; {{langx|pl|Dołbysz}}) is a rural settlement in Zviahel Raion, Zhytomyr Oblast, Ukraine. The settlement was previously known as Markhlevsk ({{langx|uk|Мархлевськ}}; {{langx|pl|Marchlewsk}}) after the Polish-born Soviet politician and civil activist Julian Marchlewski. History
In the 1920s Marchlewsk was an administrative center of Marchlewszczyzna, a Polish National Raion of {{ill|Zhytomyr Okruha|ru|Житомирский округ}}. Later it was incorporated into Kyiv Oblast.{{cn|date=December 2023}}
During World War II, Jews of the town{{Cite web|url=http://www.jewishgen.org/ukraine/GEO_town.asp?id=445|title = Ukraine RD: Dovbysh}} were murdered in a mass execution perpetrated by an Einsatzgruppe.{{Cite web|url=http://yahadmap.org/#village/dovbysh-zhytomyr-ukraine.59|title = Yahad - in Unum}}
Until 26 January 2024, Dovbush was designated urban-type settlement.
