Finbarr is from Etinan local Government Area, Akwa Ibom state

Political Appointment

Finbarr served as the media assistance in 2014, to the former deputy governor, of Akwa Ibom state, Lady Valerie Ebe. He was appointed as special assistance on media to governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom state in 2015, followed by a re-appoint in 2019. Recognition

Finbarr was selected by the U.S. Department of State to represent Nigeria in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), as part of the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Programme for Journalists. He was the only representative from West Africa in that year’s edition.
