Barnabás György Szabó (born October 9, 1981) is a Hungarian-born economist and investor specializing in the stock market, real estate, and venture capital. He currently resides in Singapore.
Early Life and Education

Career
Szabó began his career in the early 2000s, founding his first company while still a university student in 2001. Currently, Szabó is the head of AWM Holding Plc., a company established in 2010 that specializes in wholesale trade and asset management, particularly in capital market investments and the trade of electronic components such as microchips. The company is headquartered in Budaörs, Hungary. Szabó divides his time between Hungary and Singapore, where he is involved in establishing a technology investment company.
Szabó's investment focus has recently been on American and Asian startups. His portfolio includes investments in companies such as Addepar, a financial technology company, and Postmates, a U.S. food delivery service acquired by Uber in 2020. He has also invested in online education provider Udacity and rideshare company Uber. In 2021, Szabó realized significant returns from investments in Postmates and Addepar, with returns of 2.28x and 2.91x, respectively.
