Ubaezuonu began his football journey with Irish youth clubs Lough Harps and Malahide FC. His performances earned him a move to Dundalk FC in 2016, where he made his senior debut and accumulated three league appearances over three seasons.

In 2018, Ubaezuonu joined Galway United on loan, making 12 appearances and scoring three goals. His impactful performances led to a permanent move in 2019.
