Windows version: Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive , Amazon S3, and WebDav.
Encryption
Cloudmounter uses Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with a 256-bit key length to protect data from unwanted access. Encryption in CloudMounter works in such a way that only those who have the decryption key can read data. The encryption key used in the Windows version of the application is also acceptable for the Mac version, allowing users to access encrypted files regardless of the operating system they are using.{{Cite web |last=Rudd |first=Emilia |title=Encryption CloudMounter for Windows |url=https://help.electronic.us/support/solutions/articles/44002285864-cloudmounter-for-windows-encryption |access-date=2024-11-26 |website=Electronic Team, Inc |language=en}}
Also, CloudMounter operates an end-to-end encryption model {{Cite web |last=Team |first=DealPost |title=Keep your cloud based files secure with CloudMounter |url=https://www.macworld.com/article/1428845/keep-your-cloud-based-files-secure-with-cloudmounter.html |access-date=2024-11-26 |website=Macworld |language=en}}, which means that even if the cloud storage provider's servers are compromised, the data will remain inaccessible without encryption keys.
