Face 2 fAKE was formed in 1994 by Achilles Damigos and Oh!Be, becoming Japan's first dedicated music producer unit. While already active in record production, they later expanded into soundtrack work, notably composing for the anime Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Children (2000), which marked their early entry into visual media scoring.

In 2019, they scored the hit film *Fly Me to the Saitama*, which grossed over 3.7 billion yen (approximately USD 25 million) at the box office and earned them their first Japan Academy Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Music in 2020. In 2023, they composed the score for its sequel, *Fly Me to the Saitama: From Lake Biwa with Love*, and in 2024, they provided the soundtrack for the live-action film adaptation of *Cells at Work!*, produced by Warner Bros. Japan. • Achilles Damigos – Composer, arranger, producer. Born in Athens to a Greek-Italian father and Japanese mother. Studied contemporary music composition at Shobi University in Tokyo. Known for orchestration, conducting, and crossover compositions blending classical, jazz, and electronic music.
• Oh!Be (Yoshimitsu Oba) – Composer, arranger, producer. Born in Tokyo. With roots in chanson and church music, he began composing in his teens and studied under the influential composer Kyōhei Tsutsumi. Also known for CM music and anime themes.
