Georgina White is a British/Austrian actress, musician and writer. She is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
Biography
Career
Georgina's film credits include That Good Night (2017) starring John Hurt and The Lady of Heaven, due to be released in 2021. She can also be seen in short films Invisible, Earth To Sky and Utopia 6.
In 2020, Georgina was one of three actresses performing in Wales Millennium Centre's The Beauty Parade. In 2015 she played Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors at Theatre Clwyd. She played Rosalind in Stafford Shakespeare Festival's production of As You Like It opposite John Challis as Jacques in 2014. She played Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream the previous year and Olivia in Twelfth Night in 2009.
Georgina played the leading role of Betty in the UK tour of Blonde Bombshells of 1943 and Bryony in the UK Tour of Up On The Roof, both Oldham Coliseum productions. She played Katie in Willy Russel's Our Day Out at The Royal Court, Liverpool in 2010 and The White Witch in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe at the Royal & Derngate. She played The Gaoler's Daughter in The Wind In The Willows at West Yorkshire Playhouse in 2012.
Georgina played Circe The Witch in Hansel and Gretel at The Rose Theatre, Kingston in 2019.
Georgina began her acting career at 15 years old when she played Laurey in the National Youth Music Theatre's West End production/UK tour of Oklahoma! at the Peacock Theatre. She then played Princess Delcine in Orvin: Champion of Champions at the Stephen Joseph Theatre, written and directed by Sir Alan Ayckbourn. She was accepted into the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art at 18 years old.
Television credits include M.I. High (Kudos). She can be seen in GoldenEye 007 (2010 video game) developed by Eurocom.
Georgina in the daughter of opera singer Ingrid Baier (mezzo soprano for English National Opera and Royal Opera House).
Works
- In 2020, Georgina wrote and composed her one woman show Villainess, a musical play with original music. This had an R&D and Filmed Producers Sharing at The Turbine Theatre, London in May 2021 directed by Kirsty Patrick Ward.
