Studies

In a study by the John Hopkins University School of Education, students who did the i-Ready personalized lessons had a higher test score on the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS), scoring an average of 5-8 points higher than students who only did the diagnostic. Additionally, students who completed the usage guidelines for 18 weeks and passed over 70% of lessons had 6-17 point gains compared to other students.{{Cite web |title= |url=https://jscholarship.library.jhu.edu/server/api/core/bitstreams/037cbecb-98ad-4d97-baf0-e552e17ce407/content |archive-url=http://web.archive.org/web/20240818142823/https://jscholarship.library.jhu.edu/server/api/core/bitstreams/037cbecb-98ad-4d97-baf0-e552e17ce407/content |archive-date=2024-08-18 |access-date=2025-04-24 |website=jscholarship.library.jhu.edu}}

i-Ready Diagnostic

The i-Ready Diagnostic is an adaptive assessment that adjusts its questions based on the responses of students, for example, a series of correct answers will result in slightly harder questions, while a series of incorrect answers will yield slightly easier questions.{{cite web |title=i-Ready / What is i-Ready? |url=https://www.sau26.org/domain/1364 |access-date=April 10, 2025 |website=www.sau26.org}}
