John Henry Budden (1813 – 1890) was an English missionary known for his work in India, particularly in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. Early Life
John Henry Budden was born in 1813 in England. Budden arrived in India in 1841, where he initially served in the Mirzapur area. In 1850, he received an invitation to establish a mission in the Kumaon region. He arrived in Almora in 1851 and dedicated himself to missionary work in the area.
