Juliette Godot is an American author of the historical fiction novel, From the Drop of Heaven. A lifelong genealogist, Godot has nearly 40,000 ancestors cataloged in her family tree. Her debut novel was published in August 2022 by Brown Posey Press, a subsidiary of Sunbury Press. The story is based on the lives of her twelfth-generation great-grandparents from Lorraine, France, and is set during the Renaissance.

Articles based on Juliette's research of the myths and legends of the Vosges have also appeared in publications such as the Historical Times magazine.

Personal Life

Juliette Godot was born in 1962 near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. She was raised on her family’s 100-year farm. Juliette attended a parochial Catholic School for her primary education and Geneva College, a private Protestant liberal arts college, in Beaver Falls, PA for her bachelor's degree. She worked as a software engineer at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
