Biography
Although born in Montreal, Katherine Adams has strong ties to Canada’s oldest Black community, Halifax, Nova Scotia, as her father and his family were all born and raised there.

Alongside her artistic career, Katherine Adams became a lawyer. She later worked for the International Criminal Court (ICC) as a communication consultant, during which she served as spokesperson, protocol officer, and contributed to the Court's communication policy.
Upon returning to Canada, the Quebec Bar, through the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), dispatched her to Bolivia on a mission to train Bolivian lawyers in communication.

She was also trained by Al Gore to deliver his presentation of An Inconvenient Truth in French.

In 2020, she founded the collective White Wash [https://whitewashproductions.com/les-actrices/ Les Actrices], supported by the Canada Council for the Arts, the Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec, the Conseil des Arts de Montréal, and the Cole Foundation, which, in 2021, presented a public reading of a text of the same name, narrating the autobiographical stories of three actresses of Indigenous and African descent. A public reading of the text was held at the Espace Libre theater in Montreal.
