2024 Question 4 (also known as the Legalization and Regulation of Psychedelic Substances Initiative) was an indirect initiated state statute that would have legalized the production, possession, and use of small amounts of psychedelics for people 21 and older, and create bodies to regulate the practice. It would have also impleminted a 15% excise tax on the sale of such substances. 2024 Question 5 (also known as the Minimum Wage for Tipped Employees Initiative) was an indirect initiated state statute that would have matched the tipped minimum wage and the untipped minimum wage. If passed, the measure would have gradually raised the minimum wage for tipped workers from $6.75/hour plus tips to $15.00/hour plus tips by January 1, 2029.
