Manifest was formed through the survival show Big5 Türkiye which aired on Youtube. Originally intended to be made up of five members, the judges of the show made the decision to include a sixth member in the group in the grand finale. Referred to as "Big5" throughout the show, the group's name was revealed as "Manifest" on February 5, 2025 through Spotify Turkey's Instagram account.{{Cite web |last=Demirci |first=Esra |title=Big5 Türkiye Grup İsmi Ne Oldu? The members of the group were selected through Big5 Türkiye after auditions and months of competition during the bootcamp period of the show.
