Miechowska Street is a street in Kraków, entirely located within the district Krowodrza.

History

The street already existed at the beginning of the 20th century and was then called Kawiory Street (similarly to the present-day street of the same name, it was situated in the area of the former settlement of Kawiory). Its current name, derived from the town of Miechów, was given in 1912.{{Cite book |title=Nazwy ulic Krakowa |publisher=Wydawnictwo Instytutu Języka Polskiego PAN |year=1995 |isbn=83-85579-48-6 |location=Kraków |pages=102 |language=pl}}

Route

Miechowska Street runs through the areas of Czarna Wieś and Nowa Wieś Narodowa, both part of Kraków's district Krowodrza, along its entire length.{{Cite book |title=Kraków – plan miasta |publisher=Wydawnictwo Turystyczne Compass |year=2024 |isbn=978-83-8184-589-2 |publication-date=2024 |language=pl}}
