Mohammad Hussein Al-Ansari, born in 1952, is an Iraqi Australian religious leader and scholar in Shia Islam. He teaches the highest level of research at the Seminary of Holy Najaf, Iraq. He also is the spiritual leader for Shia Islam in Australasia. His education included Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Baghdad in 1973 as well as religious education and teaching at Najaf and Qum until reaching the level of ijtehad in 1995.
