A Global Award

The Mohamed bin Rashid Arabic Language Award is a global prize aimed at spreading the Arabic language and enhancing its status and role worldwide. The number of participating countries in its eighth edition for 2024 reached 65 countries around the world. The distribution of applicants was as follows: 75% from Africa, 23% from Asia, 1% from Europe, and the remainder from the Americas and Oceania. The award also included participants from nine new countries: Mexico, Norway, Poland, Thailand, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Djibouti, South Korea, and Mauritius.
