Moorestown Rowing Club (MRC) was a youth rowing club, in Moorestown & Camden, New Jersey.

The Moorestown Rowing club was a competitive racing youth crew, from the town of Moorestown, New Jersey. The crew rowed in Camden, New Jersey on the Cooper River. MRC started as a hobby club, then soon after became a scholastic program for the Moorestown High School. In 2021, MHS and MRC parted ways, due to the school's lack of desire to fund the program. After seperating, MRC decided to become a full competitive program, and opened registration to all athletes. The club quickly grew after rowers from Audubon, Cherry Hill, Haddonfield, Lumberton, Medford, Mt. At the time of merging, MRC only featured a competitive racing program, alongside which they had a learn-to-row program. The club did not have a mandatory program for athletes in the summer, however they did ask athletes who don't compete in this season to maintain shape and log their workouts over the summer.{{Citation needed|date=February 2025}}
A team tradition that was carried on by the Cooper Junior Rowing Club was the annual banquet which would be hosted at the end of the season. At this banquet the team's coaches would award rowers with trophies and recognitions. This event was put on by the commodores of the team and would normally take place soon after the USRowing Mid-Atlantic Youth Championships, which marks the end of the season for athletes who did not qualify for the USRowing Youth National Championships.
The teams 2024 uniform features the team colors of black and yellow. The uniform had "MRC" written in yellow on the left and right sides of both thighs. It features two fading yellow patterns overlapping on a black background. The team motto was featured on the final uniform on the outside of the left thighs silicone grip band.

History
= Founding =
Founded in 2001, the Moorestown Rowing Club was originally a hobby group comprised of local residents of Moorestown, NJ. Boats were housed in garages or stored on trailers and then trailered daily to the Rancocas creek. The club switched to the Cooper river and eventually got a bay in the Camden County boathouse.
The team was adopted by Moorestown High School soon after its founding and shifted into a scholastic team to act as the MHS rowing team. In 2021, the scholastic team was defunded and removed from the Moorestown High School sports program.{{cn}}
The Moorestown Rowing Club was the successor of the scholastic team, becoming a full size competitive club. This opened up the club to rowers outside of Moorestown High School, allowing them to grow much larger than the team was previously. As a non-scholastic team, MRC was permitted to compete in higher level regattas.

Race History

Board
The MRC Board was made up of ten members, which were parents of active rowers enrolled in the program. New board members were welcomed in July of each year when those whose children graduate step down. The board President (Marissa Cohen) and Vice President (Cait Leggett) worked to organize almost all the non-coaching related club work. The president and vice president were the link between athlete parents and the coaches, managing team email communications on everything from races, uniforms, and volunteering. {{cn}}
Below the president and vice president was the Program Director, or Head Coach (Harry Carroll). The program director managed the team and was also in charge of the coaching staff. Similarly to any other coach, the program director was present at practices, working with the athletes both on land and on the water. {{cn}}
