Noiduin is a Finnish dark folk music group. The band originated in 2020 as the solo project of founding member Jemina Kärvi, and later expanded with additional members for live performances.{{cite web |title=About Noiduin |url=https://noiduin.com/band |website=www.noiduin.com |access-date=10 April 2025}} Noiduin’s music draws inspiration from Finnish mythology and folklore, with songs often based on ancient Finnish spell poems. The group’s unique soundscape is created using self-built traditional instruments such as the jouhikko, kantele, and frame drums, which together create an otherwordly atmosphere. The name "Noiduin" means "I cast spells" and is derived from the Finnish word noita, meaning “witch” and the verb noitua, meaning “to perform witchcraft.”{{cite web |title=Interview with Sound of Midgard |url=https://soundofmidgard.com/interview-with-noiduin/ |website=www.soundofmidgard.com |access-date=10 April 2025}}
Noiduin has released two EP's and three singles. Their music is described as ancient but fresh, archaic and haunting.{{cite web |last1=de Booy |first1=Cliff |title=CeltCast Review |url=https://celtcast.com/noiduin-korven-kolkon-kainalossa-2022-alinen-2023/ |website=www.celtcast.com |access-date=10 April 2025}} Noiduin has also collaborated internationally, featuring on the German dark folk project Bjorth's track Svinfylking, and co-releasing the song Kalma as a joint effort between the two artists.{{cite web |title=Bjorth interview with Sound of Midgard|url=https://soundofmidgard.com/interview-with-bjorth/ |website=www.soundofmidgard.com |access-date=10 April 2025}}

Lyrics
Noiduin's lyrics draw inspiration from Finnish mythology and Finnic incantations, a tradition of casting spells to aid in everyday life or to connect with the spirits that inhabit the world. Sometimes, the spells themselves are used, while at other times, the language of spells and spirits is employed to express emotions or ideas through the music.{{cite web |title=CeltCast Review |url=https://celtcast.com/noiduin-korven-kolkon-kainalossa-2022-alinen-2023/ |website=www.celtcast.com |access-date=10 April 2025}}
