}}The Novopavlivka Offensive is an Offensive by Russian Forces to advance into Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and to capture Novopavlivka from the initial Pokrovsk Russian Salient.

Background

In an effort to envelop Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad during the Pokrovsk offensive, throughout late 2024 and early 2025, Russian Forces created a salient west of Pokrovsk as an effort to envelop Pokrovsk. By January 2025, the salient grew much larger, threatening the border of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. If the Russian Forces entered Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, this would make the first entry of Russian Forces into the Oblast since the start of the Invasion. On April 11 2025, ISW made Novopavlivka a direction. Thus, this marked the start of the offensive of a likely effort to enter Dnipropetrovsk oblast from the western salient around Pokrovsk.{{cite web |last1=April |first1=Russian |title=Russian Offensive Campaign Assessment, April 11, 2025 |url=https://www.understandingwar.org/backgrounder/russian-offensive-campaign-assessment-april-11-2025 |website=Institute for the Study of War}}Even before ISW officially made Novopavlivka a direction of an offensive
