Olympic Airways Flight 506 was a scheduled passenger flight from Kerkyra-I. Accident
The YS-11 aircraft’s crew began their descent to Athens although in terrible weather and low visibility at night. On the final approach to the airport, the aircraft struck the seas’ surface breaking apart which was 5km off the coast.
