Oyinlola Oduyebo is a Nigerian medical microbiologist, researcher, and lecturer with extensive experience in antibiotic stewardship, antimicrobial resistance, and healthcare-associated infections. She joined the University of Lagos' College of Medicine as a lecturer in 1998 and has since been teaching a diverse range of students, including undergraduates, postgraduates, nurses, and midwives. EDUCATION
Oduyebo holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB, BS) degree (1986). She also obtained a Master of Science degree in Medical Microbiology (1995). Additionally, she is a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians (FWACP) in Laboratory Medicine (1998) and a Fellow of the Medical College of Pathologists (FMCPath) (1998). In 2021, she earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, and in 2023, she became a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath).

Oduyebo research focuses on antibiotic stewardship, antimicrobial resistance, and healthcare-associated infections. Her work has promoted awareness among healthcare professionals about the responsible use of antibiotics and effective infection control measures.
