{{AFC comment|1=Current draft fails WP:SIGCOV. All the sources and prose discuss the works individually, but there is no discussion of it as a series as a whole, and also goes against WP:UNDUE as we have a lack of "depth of detail, the quantity of text, prominence of placement, the juxtaposition of statements, and the use of imagery." In this case, nothing on the series as a whole, just individual reception to individual works in a franchise, with no sources discussing the bigger picture. Pet Sematary is an American supernatural horror media franchise that began with the novel of the same name in 1983 by Stephen King. It was adapted into a 1989 film directed by Mary Lambert, who went on to direct the 1992 sequel. In 2019 another adaption was released, directed by Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer. A prequel to that 2019 film was released in 2023, titled Pet Sematary: Bloodlines.
The franchise revolves around the titular pet cemetery, a cemetery capable of bringing the dead back to life.
