The Player Search System, often abbreviated to PSS, was a feature in Pokémon X and Y and Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. It was used for online purposes. Gameplay elements

It was used to trade and battle other players in the Generation VI games. Players can be found online or locally. Online interactions require an Internet connection, but local interactions do not.
