Pavlovich earned his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. He completed his orthopedic training at Sheba Medical Center in Israel, affiliated with Tel Aviv University.
He later pursued a subspecialty in knee surgery at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Saint-Étienne, France.

Pavlovich is the founder and current director of Instituto Orthopedica, a musculoskeletal health center based in Hermosillo, Sonora.
From 2000 to 2017, he served as head of the Knee Clinic at ISSSTESON.
