}}Six Impala (stylized in lowercase) are an electronic music band formed on June 17th, 2017. Their approach to electronic music is experimental and blend narrative-driven concepts with eclectic production styles. The group comprises five members: KaTT, underscores, SCRIPT, HELVETICAN, and NEUTRA (who joined in 2020).
= History =
Six Impala originated as an experimental music collective among close collaborators. The founding members—KaTT, underscores, SCRIPT, and HELVETICAN—focused on creating concept-driven electronic music that merged diverse genres, from glitch-hop to future bass. The collective then transitioned into a band with the release of their debut album, RUBBER (2019).
In 2020, the band expanded to include NEUTRA, a vocal synth character voiced by an anonymous voice actor. The addition of NEUTRA coincided with the release of their sophomore album, WFLYTD'.
Musical Style and Influence
The band’s music is deeply rooted in the intersection of electronic and experimental pop. They often use unconventional structures and integrate a variety of influences, such as hip-hop, ambient, and chiptune. Their debut album, RUBBER (2019), showcased a blend of music and narrative, telling one cohesive story across its tracks. This concept-album style has become a defining trait of their work.
