St John the Evangelist, New Hinksey is a Church of England parish church in New Hinksey, Oxford, in the Anglo-Catholic tradition.

Building

The church was designed by Ninian Comper and William Bucknell and built in 1899-1900.{{NHLE |desc=CHURCH OF ST JOHN THE EVANGELIST |num=1047100 |access-date=2025-04-14 }} It was designated as a Listed building in 1952, being listed as Grade II* due to it being "a very good example of a late Victorian Gothic Revival church in a free Perpendicular style. It is in the free Perpendicular style, and is based on the style of late medieval East Anglian churches.
