Valena C. Jones Normal School (1892-1969) was a training school for African American teachers in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. It was preceded by Bay St Louis Negro School. Its last high school graduating class was in 1969. Valena Cecelia MacArthur Jones (1872 - January 13, 1917){{Cite web|url=https://neworleanshistorical.org/items/show/560|title=Valena Cecelia MacArthur Jones: New Orleans Educator 1872-1917|first=Lauren|last=Dean|website=New Orleans Historical}} was born in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi in 1872 m, and after graduating in 1892 from Straight College in New Orleans was named principal of Bay St Louis Negro School in 1892.
