He represents the Canada national cricket team and has competed in List A, One Day International (ODI), and Twenty20 International (T20I) matches.

Early life and domestic career

Samra was born in Canada and was introduced to cricket by his father, who emigrated from India. As a child, he often accompanied his father to local cricket matches and quickly developed a strong interest in the game. He began playing at a young age and developed his skills through various local cricket programs. Samra made his List A debut for Canada against Zimbabwe A on 26 February 2025 in Harare. In March 2025, Samra made his ODI debut for Canada against Namibia on 19 March 2025.
