David Onama (born June 7, 1994) is a Ugandan mixed martial artist who competes in the Featherweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Background
Born in the Kyangwali Refugee Settlement in Uganda, David came over to the United States with his family at the age of 10. He knew he wanted to be a fighter from a young age. Mixed martial arts career

Making his MMA debut at KCFA 32, he defeated Fransisco Pintos via second round TKO, winning his next two bouts in the promotion, via 12 second guillotine against Raymond Bighead and second round rear-naked choke against Sam Fernandez. Debuting with FAC, he made his promotional debut at FAC 2, where he defeated Antonio Castillo via TKO in round one. Onama faced Gabriel Benítez on February 19, 2022 at UFC Fight Night: Walker vs. Hill. At weigh-ins, Benítez weighed in at 148 pounds, 2 pounds over the featherweight non-title fight limit.
