Bracy, Adrian submisstion

Hi friends, I am working on a submission of Adrian Bracy to wikipedia. Primarily, I wish to highlight the successful people coming from Liberty City, Miami.

Issues that have been pointed out and addressed so far - thank you Jlwoodwa:

To my knowledge I have addressed these issues.

Subsequent submission received this feedback (thank you Drmies for your attention and time!

--submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. The comment here is that getting selected as the "top 50" of something isn't that big of a deal.

--do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people).

The sources cited include local newspapers. There is a reference to Bracy's own website simply to cie that she has her own website and coaching business. The quality of citations provided in the draft so far seem to be as good as or in some cases better than those who are featured as notable people coming from Liberty City, Miami, which is the genesis for wanting to include this article on Adrian Bracy - to have her recognized there.

  • Sorry, but disagree: even the formatting is resume-style. To get into an encyclopedia a bit more is required than local coverage. I just removed a TED talk also: TED talks are really not that notable, and it's a primary source. Then you got her own company highlighted and linked inline--neither of those are according to our guidelines, and I dispute that you are merely stating a fact there, esp. given what follows . I don't know if the draft is better or worse than those of other people from the same place and it doesn't really matter. Wait--she's got a book and you linked (again, inline) to her own web shop? No. Courtesy ping to User:jlwoodwa. Drmies (talk) 15:29, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
