Drop is an unincorporated community in Denton County, Texas, United States.
The early settlement was a supply point for the surrounding agricultural community.
History

It operated until 1935, when students began attending school in Justin. The early Drop community had two stores and two churches, and for recreation, residents would go swimming at Drop Crossing on nearby Oliver Creek. Business and people from Drop and other nearby communities began moving to Justin after a railroad was built there in the late 1800s. Drop had a population of 38 in 1936 and 30 in 1963.
Geography
Drop is located on Farm to Market Road 1384 in southwest Denton County, {{convert|4|mi|km|abbr=on}} northwest of Justin.
