Dry Creek Glacier is located in Shoshone National Forest, in the U.S. state of Wyoming on Dry Creek Ridge, a high altitude plateau to the east of the main summits of the Wind River Range.{{cite map|publisher=TopoQwest (United States Geological Survey Maps)|title=Fremont Peak North, WY|url=http://www.topoquest.com/map.php?lat=43.16662&lon=-109.51431&datum=nad83&zoom=4|accessdate=October 19, 2013}} The toe of the glacier has an unnamed proglacial lake, and the glacier has a moderate slope which descends from {{convert|12320|to|11800|ft|abbr=on}}.
