Dundas is the name of an abandoned town in the Goldfields-Esperance Region of Western Australia.{{LandInfo WA|c|D|26 January 2010}} The town is located about {{convert|22|km|mi|0}} south of Norseman.

The town was established during the late 19th century gold rush period.{{Cite web |title=Historic Dundas Townsite » Woodlands Cultural, Community and Visitors Centre |url=https://visitdundas.com.au/things-to-do/attractions/historic-dundas-townsite.aspx#:~:text=Dundas%20was%20established%20during%20the,the%20gold%20miners%20and%20settlers |access-date=2024-11-16 |website=visitdundas.com.au}}

Dundas was the location of an early gold find in the region in 1894. The town was gazetted on 22 May 1895 and derives its name from the Dundas Hills which, in turn, were named after Captain James Whitley Deans Dundas of the Royal Navy ship {{HMS|Tagus|1813|6}} in 1848.Western Australian Government Gazette, file 2833/93, 23 May 1895, p.735.

The population of the town was 99 (71 males and 28 females) in 1898.{{cite news |url=http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article33153441 |title=Population of Western Australia. |newspaper=Western Mail |location=Perth, Western Australia |date=22 April 1898 |access-date=28 May 2012 |page=23 |publisher=National Library of Australia}}

Further gold finds north of Dundas led to the establishment of Norseman, which, being the richer find, rapidly outgrew the former.[http://www.dundas.wa.gov.au/history.aspx History] Shire of Dundas website, accessed: 26 January 2010
