Versions of the show for other countries are also produced in the area.{{cite web|url=https://www.theguardian.com/media/2004/nov/20/realitytv.australia|title=Local residents in Australia unimpressed with ITV's I'm a Celebrity|first=David|last=Fickling|date=20 November 2004|website=The Guardian|access-date=19 November 2018}}

Conversely, the 2021 and 2022 editions of the Australian version of the series were produced in Dungay - as travel restrictions prevented the production travelling to the normal South African location.
