Duriel Hardy is an American distance runner, pediatric neurologist, and professor. He ran cross country and track for Brown University before attending Duke University Medical School. Hardy competed in the United States Olympic Trials Marathon in 2020 and 2024.

Early life

Hardy grew up in West Chester, Pennsylvania and attended West Chester East High School, graduating in 2006. Career

Hardy attended medical school at Duke University from 2011 to 2015. Hardy registered a time of 2:18:23 at the 2019 California International Marathon, which qualified him for the 2020 United States Olympic Trials (marathon) in Atlanta. In June 2022, Hardy notched his career-best half marathon of 1:04:53 at the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon in Duluth, MN.

He returned to marathoning in 2023, recording a 2:17:58 time at the California International Marathon, which qualified him for the 2024 United States Olympic Trials (marathon) in Orlando.

Personal
