Durringtonia is a monotypic genus of flowering plants in the family Rubiaceae. The genus contains only one species, viz. Durringtonia paludosa, which is endemic to Australia (northeastern New South Wales and southeastern Queensland).{{cite web|url=http://wcsp.science.kew.org/namedetail.do?name_id=65352|title=Durringtonia in the World Checklist of Rubiaceae|accessdate=13 December 2017}}

The genus and the species were first described in 1985 by Rodney Henderson and Gordon Guymer.{{APNI2|name=Durringtonia|id=80281|access-date=2024-12-03}}{{APNI2|name=Durringtonia paludosa|access-date=2024-12-03|id=80286}}{{cite Q|Q55779104}} The genus name honours Lorraine Durrington who first collected this "insignificant-looking and rare plant in a swamp on the island".
