Ectonucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase 3 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the ENTPD3 gene.{{cite journal | vauthors = Chadwick BP, Frischauf AM | title = The CD39-like gene family: identification of three new human members (CD39L2, CD39L3, and CD39L4), their murine homologues, and a member of the gene family from Drosophila melanogaster | journal = Genomics | volume = 50 | issue = 3 | pages = 357–67 |date=Oct 1998 | pmid = 9676430 | doi = 10.1006/geno.1998.5317 }}{{cite web | title = Entrez Gene: ENTPD3 ectonucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase 3| url = https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?Db=gene&Cmd=ShowDetailView&TermToSearch=956}}

ENTPD3 is similar to E-type nucleotidases (NTPases). NTPases, such as CD39, mediate catabolism of extracellular nucleotides. ENTPD3 contains 4 apyrase-conserved regions which is characteristic of NTPases.{{cite web | title = Entrez Gene: ENTPD3 ectonucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase 3| url = https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?Db=gene&Cmd=ShowDetailView&TermToSearch=956}}
