EPS8L3

{{Short description|Protein-coding gene in the species Homo sapiens}}

{{Infobox_gene}}

Epidermal growth factor receptor kinase substrate 8-like protein 3 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the EPS8L3 gene.{{cite journal | vauthors = Tocchetti A, Confalonieri S, Scita G, Di Fiore PP, Betsholtz C | title = In silico analysis of the EPS8 gene family: genomic organization, expression profile, and protein structure | journal = Genomics | volume = 81 | issue = 2 | pages = 234–44 |date=Mar 2003 | pmid = 12620401 | doi =10.1016/S0888-7543(03)00002-8 }}{{cite web | title = Entrez Gene: EPS8L3 EPS8-like 3| url = https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?Db=gene&Cmd=ShowDetailView&TermToSearch=79574}}

This gene encodes a protein that is related to epidermal growth factor receptor pathway substrate 8 (EPS8), a substrate for the epidermal growth factor receptor. The function of this protein is unknown. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms exist.{{cite web | title = Entrez Gene: EPS8L3 EPS8-like 3| url = https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?Db=gene&Cmd=ShowDetailView&TermToSearch=79574}}
